CSR_9 (July 9th- 15th 2012)
The eighth week in search of whales and dolphins in
the waters of the Pelagos Sanctuary was characterized
by vile weather and sea
conditions. In fact, due to a
persistent wind that
at times reached 40 knots and swells that reached
three meters in height, it has been
possible to work at sea only for
a day.
Nevertheless, there have been two sightings, the first of a large group of striped
dolphins and the other one of sperm
whales. Nevertheless we feel optimistic
for the future weeks; the storm
will pass and we will certainly be more
than ready for another busy week of work at
sea.
“The fishermen
know that the sea is dangerous
and the storm terrible, but they have never found these dangers sufficient
reason for remaining ashore” (Vincent van Gogh)

so...)
Ai partecipanti al turno รจ dedicato uno
